Chinese New Year Celebration
Our school celebrated Chinese New Year with a meaningful programme designed to promote cultural appreciation, unity, and togetherness among students and staff.
The celebration featured a range of engaging activities, including a quiz session, CNY song performances, a short skit, and a calligraphy competition where students showcased creativity and appreciation of Chinese cultural traditions.
A key highlight of the celebration was the lively CNY song performance in the school hall, where students and staff came together to sing and dance along, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
Another memorable moment was the lou sang session during break time, held in the canteen with the participation of the entire school community. Prepared using ingredients contributed by different classes, the yusheng reflected students’ creativity and teamwork, with some groups incorporating a variety of fruits and experimenting with different styles of presentation. The activity brought everyone together in a joyful and meaningful celebration of the festive spirit.
Through these shared experiences, the celebration fostered cultural understanding and strengthened unity within the school community.
